The Oticon Opn S product series, by contrast, allows automatically adaptive balancing of speech and background noise, enabling you to more easily function in complex acoustic environments.
Opn S hearing instruments actively scan your environment 100 times per second, providing you with more accurate information about the 360º sound-scape surrounding you. Your ability to understand speech is improved by up to 30%, so that you don't need to work as hard to understand, leaving more mental energy to remember what you hear. Opn devices also provide significant benefit in the perception of spatial acoustic cues, which are necessary for maintaining acoustic balance, and best natural ability to localize your focus to the source of voices or sounds.
Opn technology levels:
Opn S I is Oticon’s premium level product. Opn S I provides the easiest listening experience with maximum reduction of background noise and rapid reduction of loud noise coming from specific directions while preserving speech.
Opn S 2 is the Oticon mid-level product and provides an easier listening experience with moderate reduction of background noise, and reduction of loud noise coming from specific directions while preserving speech.
Opn S 3 is the base level of the Opn S platform. Still superior to any other product on the market, Opn S 3 offers an improved listening experience with basic reduction of loud noise coming from specific directions while preserving speech.
